Wine Beer & Cocktails are now part of your stay at The Nicholson Inn in downtown Freeport!
We’ve been granted a Maine State Liquor License and will have a carefully curated menu to choose from. We love wine, craft beer and specialty cocktails, and hope you’ll stay with us and sample our offerings.
For reds we’ll have a big Cab, silky Malbec, rich Merlot and yummy Cotes du Rhone. And, for whites we’ll include a flinty Sauvignon Blanc, a Sonoma-Cutrer Chardonnay, a crisp Pinot Grigio, and a fruity Rose.
Plus, for after dinner, we offer LBV ports from makers like Fonseca, Taylor Fladgate and Sandeman. Also, cordials, liqueurs, and wonderful Spanish brandy and French cognac.
And, whisky fans, we should talk! There will be some limited tastings of fine and rare whisky from domestic and international areas including Kentucky, Japan, Ireland and Scotland–and of course, Maine!
You might even get a chance to taste one of the rarest whiskies ever made…
