“Just home from our second extended stay at the Nicholson Inn Freeport. New owners John & Loretta are wonderful hosts of this very cheery Inn. After a night on the comfortable bed & linens in our cozy bedroom, the morning starts with coffee/tea & a freshly baked fruit “Pop Tot” followed by a tasty breakfast prepared by John from the menu filled with delicious options and served by a smiling Loretta along with her lively conversation. We watched the Memorial Day Parade & passers by from the front porch and often used the second story deck to rest after a day of antiquing and then exploring LL Bean, restaurants and local stores just a short walk away in Freeport. Our stay was made special by their friendliness and attention to detail and an occasional meeting with Mojo, a friendly black lab with a lot of puppy still in him.”
